Warranty Policy

Limited Warranty
The warranty as described herein shall only apply to LED products and LED lighting products sold by Switch Live (hereinafter referred to as ‘The Company’). The warranty is only applicable to the party purchasing the products directly from Switch Live (hereinafter referred to as: ‘Customer’ or ‘Purchaser’).

Switch Live warrants that each Product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. The foregoing warranty shall be valid for a minimum of one year mentioned in the applicable warranty policy for your Product/s as referenced to in your sales agreement. If a Product fails to operate in accordance with this warranty Switch Live will provide replacement of the failed product subject to the applicable warranty policy and the limited warranty terms and conditions set forth below.

Warranty
(a) All Switch Live products carry a minimum period of one year back to base warranty.

(b) All warranties are only valid if the products can be verified by with a valid receipt.

(c) We will in the first instance, repair the product and if it is not repairable then a replacement will be provided, to the nearest specification.

(d) No rights are given under this warranty to any person acquiring a product second hand.

(e) In the event of needing to make a claim under our warranty, please return the complete product securely packaged together with the Return Merchandise Authorisation Form and proof of purchase.

(f) Carriage and return carriage charges are the responsibility of the Customer and are not covered by this warranty.

(g) The Company reserves the right at its sole discretion to replace a product with a new product of equivalent specification if faulty products is/are beyond repair. Any repaired or replaced products will then be covered by the remaining period of the warranty from the original product supplied and no new extended warranty will be applied.

(h) The Company will replace, repair, rectify or take back non-functioning products provided they have been properly used for their intended purpose, in accordance with compliance of any applicable operating and installation instructions and we are notified with full details of the non-functionality with the warranty period. For purposes of clarity, ‘repair or replace the Product or the defective part thereof’ does not include any removal or re-installation activities, costs or expenses, including without limitation, transportation, labour costs or expenses.

(i) The Company reserves the right to test returned products to identify the defects have arisen after delivery or as a result of misuse, wear or tear, or other acts by the buyer (including without limitation wilful damage, negligence, lack of applicable maintenance or servicing, incorrect installation or power supply, misuse, alteration or unauthorised repair).

(j) The warranty will be void in respect of products if the Customer suffers or allows any person other than the Company or its authorised agents to repair, adjust or otherwise tamper with the product, or any alteration whatsoever has been made to the products otherwise than by the Company or its authorised agent, or if any device or controls are fitted to the products otherwise those approved by the Company, or the Customer has not complied with his duties hereunder.
